National Junior Honor Society members from Kingsbury Middle School recently toured colleges in California.

The eighth-grade students traveled by charter bus to Santa Cruz, where a student guided them on a walking tour of the University of California, Santa Cruz.

The following day, they toured Santa Clara University and St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga. Christine Sepa, a graduate of George Whittell High School, gave the students a fun and informal tour of the St. Mary’s campus.

This elite group of students earned eligibility in NJHS because of their commitment to scholarship, leadership, community service, citizenship and character.
