Kiwanis Club awards scholarship
The Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe recently gave a $1,000 scholarship to Elizabeth Van Buskirk to continue her college education. The service club thanks Van Buskirk for her participation in attempting to establish a Circle-K program at Lake Tahoe Community College. Circle-K is the college equivalent to Kiwanis International.
Van Buskirk is a 2000 South Tahoe High School graduate, where she was involved with the Key Club during her years in high school.
