Kiwanis Club honors grads for excellence

The Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe recently awarded a total of $16, 500 in scholarships to Whittell High School graduates. The scholarships were made through the Bob Baunhauser Foundation.

The Outstanding Key Club Member scholarship of $4,000 was given to Jeremy Bahr-Worley. The second largest scholarship of $2,000 went to Danielle Daly and the remaining money was awarded in $1,000 scholarships.

The Star of Tomorrow contest winner was Matt Andrew, who received $500.
