Kiwanis crack crabs for money

Plans are under way for the Kiwanis Sunrisers 21st annual Mid-Winter Beach Party and Crab Feed. The fund-raiser will begin at 6 p.m. Jan. 23 at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Special Events Center.

The event will include a crab dinner, raffles, door prizes, silent auction, grand prize drawing and dancing to the live band Rip Tides.

All proceeds will benefit local charitable activities.
