Tahoe Sierra Kiwanis has participated in both the 2003 and the 2004 annual Tour de Tahoe bike rides around Lake Tahoe. The event takes place the Sunday after Labor Day.

In addition to working an aid station at the Emerald Bay Vikingsholm parking lot, the Kiwanis Club also assisted with the registration at Sports Ltd at the Village Center the day prior to the event.

For their effort and assistance, Tour de Tahoe donated $350 to the Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra.

“We look forward to a long and prosperous working relationship with the coordinators of Tour de Tahoe,” said George Alm Sierra Tahoe Kiwanis president.
