KUDOS AND KINDNESS: Great job for city’s snow removal crew

I am writing to congratulate the men and women of the city of South Lake Tahoe’s Public Works Department for the fine work they perform each and every year to keep our city streets clear so that all of us can get around during our snow months. This includes our vehicle maintenance staff who keep all of the heavy snow removal equipment running 24-hours per day.

This year we have had a good snow fall, and the men and women of the department who make it all happen do the best job possible within available resources available to them.

Having been out of town for a few weeks, I am again impressed with the high quality level of service.

Without these fine public employees not only would we would be unable to get around town but our emergency response departments (police and fire) would be unable to do their jobs, we would not have businesses open and we would not support our important tourist industry.

I am proud of the men and women of the Public Works Department who consistently provide excellent snow removal services to the community.

Thank you, city snow removal employees. You are appreciated!
