Kudos and Kindness: Thank you for helping Habitat for Humanity

On Aug. 4, 2010, an energetic group of volunteers completed the first South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity project. “A Brush With Kindness” is a program for homeowners struggling to maintain the exterior of their homes. Many thanks to the 20 volunteers during the three-day event, and to local business participants Doherty Landscaping, Tahoe Sand and Gravel, Dicks Fuller Paint, and Raley’s Market. Hearty thanks to Unity at the Lake Church – an awesome group!

We look forward to future projects. For more information, call Carolyn Meiers at 530-541-4654.
