Kudos and Kindness: Thank you for rescuing injured hiker

On August 19, I was injured on a hike in Desolation Wilderness. I wish to publicly thank the EMTs from South Lake Tahoe Fire Department, Lake Valley Fire Department, CalFire and the California Highway Patrol helicopter crew from Sacramento who rescued me. I now know from personal experience how fortunate we are to have such professional and caring public servants.
