Kudos and Kindness: Thank you to businesses who support Bread & Broth

Bread & Broth would like to express their sincere gratitude to local businesses who recently Adopted Days of Nourishment. On Monday, March 22, the staff of Erik Watada’s State Farm Insurance office of Stateline was on hand to enthusiastically serve almost 100 meals. The generous donation of their time and money is greatly appreciated.

On April 5, the staff of Accommodation Station offered their helping hands to help serve the Monday meal.

“We were very busy that afternoon and their help was valuable,” said one Bread & Broth volunteer. “They were a wonderful work crew.”

Bread & Broth is able to continue its mission of feeding the hungry of South Lake Tahoe in large part because of the generosity of the local community. A $250 sponsorship covers the cost of food and beverages for the approximately 100 folks who visit each Monday evening.
