Kudos and Kindness: Thanks to all for supporting Babe Ruth baseball
Babe Ruth Baseball gives a tip of the cap to Coyote Grill for hosting our $1 Chili Night fundraiser on June 10. Every Thursday night Coyote Grill gives back to a worthy cause, and we’re please to have been included. Leland Faegre and his crew gave their usual fast and friendly service to go with the chili, their regular menu items and adult libations – a great time was had by all – and they’ve been kind enough to schedule another $1 Chili Night on October 21.
We continue to enjoy support from contributors near and far. Recent donors include Signs of Tahoe, Don Amaral, Vans Off the Wall, the Bronken Family (Luke, Jennifer, Grace and Hayden), Tahoe-Douglas Rotary, Jim Porter, Heavenly Valley and Pronto Pizza. Your support is especially appreciated in these times.
A final thank you to our team sponsors for 2010: Tahoe Optimists (Angels), Bay Products (Padres), South Tahoe Refuse (Mariners), Lew Mar Nel’s (Dodgers), Laub & Laub (Red Sox) and Marine Performance (Giants). Your special level of generosity makes our league possible – see you next year.
Meanwhile, everyone’s invited to see our 15-yr old All-Stars July 10-14 at Todd Fields as we host the Qualifier Tournament leading to the State Finals. South Tahoe’s first game is Saturday, July 10 at noon vs. Fallon and will be broadcast live on KTHO 590AM/96.1FM.
Thanks again to all – summer’s here – time to play ball!
