Kudos and Kindness: Women’s Center thanks Visitors Center and Gaming Alliance

The board of directors, staff, volunteers and clients of South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center would like to express our gratitude to the Lake Tahoe Gaming Alliance and Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. The South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center was recently awarded a grant of $3,000 from the LTGA and $4,000 from LTVA.

These unrestricted funds will support South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center’s efforts to help heal, empower and build the self-sufficiency of local survivors of violence as they set goals for safer, healthier, more hopeful futures.

Improving the emotional, social and economic needs of women, children and families in our community by assisting them in living healthier, violence-free lives would not be possible without the support of committed community organizations like LTGA and LTVA.

On behalf of all of us here at South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center, thank you for making such a difference in the lives of women and children in our community.
