Kudos: Harrah’s brightens CASA

Letter to the editor:

Harrah’s Tahoe could not have picked a better day than Feb. 22 to brighten up the lives of 40 CASA children and their volunteer advocates. Outside the snow was falling and inside at the arcade children were laughing in delight or frowning in concentration as they played their favorite electronic games.

Paul Ellbogen of Harrah’s helped arrange box lunches and two hours of arcade games for all on this winter day. It was the highlight of winter vacation for many. Our thanks to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, the friendly arcade attendants, Mr. Ellbogen and Sonja Miller and the Harrah’s kitchen for the yummy lunch. The brownies were outrageous!
