Kudos & Kindness

To the editor:

The students and staff of the Tahoe Montessori School would like to express their thanks to a number of individuals and agencies, who made our new playground possible. It has long been our dream to modernize our playground and, with the help of these people, it has happened.

We would like to thank First 5 El Dorado for the generous grant and Nicole Loftis, South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center executive director, for writing the grant proposal. Thank you to parent Debbie McHugh for researching the design and helping order the equipment. A huge thanks goes to the hard working crew of dads who worked long hours to install the equipment including Chris Linder, Scott Leonard, Steve Covey, Kevin Willitts, Colin Dye, Joe Sherwin, David Marion, Curtis Boothe and Stephen Ward and student Jeremy Covey.

Many children will be able to safely enjoy years of fun thanks to you. The playground is awesome and so are you.
