Blood drive

A very special thanks to the residents and business people of the Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District for their time and effort in making the September United Blood Services Drive a success. At the drive, 46 lifesaving donors stepped up to donate, giving 43 successful donations – 37 whole blood, and six double red cell donations, resulting in 49 products for our community. You can be assured that the 43 donations collected will help save as amny as 129 lives in Northern Nevada.

I’m looking forward to your next blood drive on Nov. 20.

Again, on behalf of our staff and the many patients who will benefit, thank you! You make the difference!
