Kudos & Kindness

On behalf of the board of directors of Tahoe Arts Project, we would like to thank the many people who helped to make An Evening with Oscar – A SpecTAPular event. On March 5 the Caesars showroom was transformed into a miniature Kodak Theater complete with red carpet, paparazzi, celebrity look-alikes, local celebrity host, dancers, Cirque du Soleil acts, photos with Oscar, live telecast of the awards, dinner and silent auction. Our sponsors played a huge part in making this evening happen.

Thank you to our Gold Sponsors, Dr. Vincent D’Ascoli, Safeway and Sierra Family Care. Our Silver Sponsors were Dana and Michelle Benedict Century 21 at Tahoe Paradise; Debbie Nelson, Countrywide Home Loans; Kevin Ray, Lake Tahoe WinterFest; Jack Crump and Cheryl Murakami, Remax Tahoe Realty Today; Michelle Langlois-Ott, Blinds and Designs; Roni Davis and Brenda Knox, Century 21 at Tahoe Paradise; Patrick Kaler; Redwood Printing; and Graham and Jill Sanders, Century 21 at Tahoe Paradise. And thank you to Alison Colvin for being a Bronze Sponsor.

We had numerous items available at the silent auction and we appreciate the local businesses and individuals for their donations. All of us here at Tahoe Arts Project are very grateful to our sponsors and contributors. Thank you to Howie Nave for donating his time to be the host for the evening and to Laine Photo Lab for taking the awesome photos with Oscar. To all of the paparazzi, you did a fabulous job and we appreciate you being there. Thank you to Caesars for providing the showroom for the evening and to their staff for working with us on this fundraiser. Choozi Entertainment was instrumental in the production of this event and it wouldn’t have been nearly as spectacular if it weren’t for them. We hope to partner with them again next year. Thank you to everyone who attended this benefit for Tahoe Arts Project and we hope you had an enjoyable evening.
