Kudos & Kindness

Sierra Recovery Center would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Rudy’s Plumbing and Heating for their generous donation of labor and contribution to the purchase of a new water heater.

Without their help, SRC could not have replaced the heater. Our clients and staff are very grateful.

Again, kudos to Rudy’s Plumbing and Heating for their generosity and support.

Golf tournament was a success

On behalf of Sierra Recovery Center, we would like to thank everyone for their involvement in making the Every Child Deserves a Drug Free Home Gene Rasmussen Golf Tournament a huge success. Many avid golfers turned out on May 25 for a beautiful day of golf at the Genoa Lakes Golf Resort. It was a fun way to give support to this nonprofit agency.

This fundraising event would not have been possible without the many supporters of Sierra Recovery Center.

A couple of companies and individuals were left out from our previous thank you ad and we would like to take a moment to acknowledge their support.

Thanks to Novasel & Schwarte for their support and Nancy Chandler for donating flyer stands that were used at the event.

A special thanks goes out to all those golfers who participated in the event and we hope to see you all again next year.

The community has really stepped up this year by donating many wonderful silent auction and raffle prizes and for that we thank you.

Ski club says thanks to many

The Douglas County Ski Club has been in existence for approximately 40 years, and thousands of local children have participated over the years.

This year the Zephyr Cove Ski Club, part of the Douglas County Ski Club which offers Saturday and Sunday clubs, had 24 children from 18 families participate.

On behalf of these families, the board of trustees of the ZCSC would like to thank Heavenly Ski Resort and the staff for an enjoyable year of skiing.

We would also like to recognize the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, School District and Parks and Recreation Department for providing resources to support this program.

We are fortunate to be able to offer the families of Douglas County a program in which their children can improve their skiing while developing their deep appreciation for our beautiful outdoors.
