Kudos & Kindness
Thank you to Coach Proctor and the South Tahoe varsity basketball team for hosting autograph night.
The team picture and signatures are memories of an exciting year of Viking basketball. We can’t wait until next year.

I have lived all over the United States – in cities from Atlanta, Houston, San Antonio and Santa Monica to San Jose, Memphis and Bakersfield. Recently, I moved to South Lake Tahoe.
I have my blood checked monthly, and I want to compliment the staff at the Barton Memorial Hospital laboratory for the excellent service they have shown me.
They truly are the “best of the best.”

The Fena family cannot begin to express its thanks to the South Lake Tahoe community for their generosity after the recent loss of our daughter- in-law, Heather.
The daily delivered meals, snow removal, offers for day care, financial donations and much more have made this very difficult time so much easier for the entire family, but particularly for our son, Joe, and the kids.
Lynde, Jackie, Coach Chuck and everyone else we came in contact with: You are all part of an amazing community, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The fourth annual Eric Nageotte-Lowe Memorial Mogul Contest was hosted Jan. 26 by Heavenly Ski Resort and Far West, Freestyle. The event was a great success.
The race was won by Becca Goldstien of Killington, Vt., and Kyle Jordan of Squaw Valley. South Shore residents Rebecca Roberts and Hannah Curtzwiler placed second and third, respectively.
Thanks to all our donors for their generosity as well as all the support the community gives to the Heavenly Ski & Snowboard Foundation.
Fundraising is critical to the success of our programs. All donations are tax-deductible; our tax ID number is 88-9240443.

The Cub Scouts of Pack 592 thank Ivano at Fasta Pasta for supplying the delicious spaghetti and homemade bread for our annual Blue and Gold dinner.
When paying for our meal, Ivano saw the check was from the local Cub Scouts and would not accept the money.
Thank you so much for your kind donation. The food was awesome.
Pat Martin, Cubmaster
