Kudos & Kindness

The following poem was written to celebrate El Dorado County Supervisor Norma Santiago’s birthday Tuesday.

Happy Birthday, Norma,

You’ve made our wishes come true,

We wish the same for you,

And in 2010,

We want you back again.

On behalf of a group of Angora fire survivors

I’m happy to see that Barber Jim has returned to The Clipper in Kings Center. After being gone for 2 1/2 years, it is a welcome sight.

I’ve tried every haircutter in town, and I’m glad you are back, Jim.

I would like to publicly thank our resident gentleman who dug the snow away from the fire hydrant on Andy Jo Circle. This action might encourage others to adopt a fire hydrant in their area to keep cleared and ready for us in case of fire.
