Kudos & Kindness
The French III and IV class of South Tahoe High School would like to thank Marcia Sarosik of Marcia Sarosik Dance Studio for graciously providing us with the unforgettable experience of learning ballet as a cultural part of our French curriculum. Madame Miller, the French teacher, encouraged the class to try something new, only to discover endless bottled-up talent.
Students were unsure of what to expect, but Miss Marcia worked her magic, and in no time at all, everyone was dancing. Some of the students in attendance were Gabriela Gonzalez, Rodelyn Penollar, Olympia Ortiz, Kenzie Usher, Nicole Uibel, Jenny Wiseman, Mariel Donovan, Casey Iacobellis, Bonnie Dreeke, Aimee Pitcher and Sierra Peterson. Some of the guys ” Brian Beverage, Dane Gorevin and Seth Weinberg ” remarked that it was an interesting challenge, but they had fun in the end.
This class learned a lot from Miss Marcia and some students already have plans to pursue their new ballet careers. Everyone left class that day with huge smiles on their faces. Students designed a card of gratitude for her.
