Kudos & Kindness
We, the kids from the South Tahoe Middle School Symphonic Band and String Orchestra, would like to thank the people and businesses that made our trip to perform in the Forum Music Festival a huge success.
Thanks to the Red Hut for a burger night fundraiser and to Jennifer Kashuba with Cookie Lee Jewelry, Christine Knight with Partylite Candles, Sierra Community Church, Larry and Gail Hobson, Eliot Building, Tahoe Fracture, Dr. Jane, Dr. Karen Borges, Marcia Sarosik Dance Studio, Dr. Doyle, Tahoe Piano Services, Joe Garcia, Innovative Lighting, Lee Anne Stigers Genasci and Pinnacle Realty for their generous donations, and Judy Klingler and Becky Fortier, our wonderful school secretaries.
Thank you to J.J. Clause and Linda Kurek for organizing this event and teaching us all the music, and Pam Singer for keeping us organized. The bus drivers deserve thanks for bringing us there and back safely, and the chaperones for making sure we didn’t get lost and for feeding us. Thank you also to all our parents and family members for supporting us and making it possible for us to go.
