Burger Night a success thanks to Red Hut
Tahoe Douglas Rotary wishes to thank the Red Hut Cafe for once again hosting our popular Burger Night fundraiser! This year, with the generous support of the Ski Run Red Hut Café, Rick & Kelly Gardner as well as their friendly staff, we were able to raise enough money for two additional vocational scholarships and one additional academic scholarship for our students this year at Whittell and South Tahoe High Schools.
We’d also like to thank the few hundred South Lake Tahoe community members who attended Burger Night.
Burger Night was a fun and successful event, and our long standing partnership with the Red Hut Café continues to encourage community participation in our schools and is greatly appreciated.

Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course helps area students
On behalf of the Booster Clubs of Whittell and South Tahoe high schools, I would like to thank the owners and staff of Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course for hosting our 27th Annual Booster Club Golf Tournament held May 3rd and 4th, 2014. Due to Edgewood’s continued generosity, over $680,000 has been raised for our schools.
I would also like to thank the numerous volunteers and local businesses that continue to support our tournament every year. We could not do it without you. We are very fortune to live in a community that believes in giving back to our students. “
St. Theresa clean up day a success
I would like to thank the many parishioners and school families who came to the St. Theresa Parish spring clean up day. With the many hands we were able to make quick work of a very big job. I would also like to thank South Tahoe Refuse for the Dumpster. With that Dumpster we were able to get rid of a lot of treasures which had all seen better days, in all of the buildings, Grace Hall, Parish Center and the school. The entire complex looks better because of our generous community.
