Kudos & Kindness: Aktion rummage sale a big success

Kiwanis Aktion Club’s special rummage sale was a big success this past Saturday.

Many kudos to Kenny Curtzwiler of K&K Services for his truck donation, TJ Maxx for the generous use of its parking lot to host the event, McDonalds restaurant for providing lunch, Tom Milham of Tahoe Wildlife Center, George Alm of KTHO radio and Tahoe Daily Tribune.

We could not have done this event without the hardworking California Conservation Corps who were mentors to our club members. They volunteered above and beyond expectations and worked tirelessly to load and unload donations along with the Kiwanis of Tahoe-Sierra.

We want to extend our thanks to the Tahoe community for donations, collaboration and community spirit that made this event a success!
