KUDOS & KINDNESS: Christmas Cheer toy distribution was a success

Through generous donations and volunteers Christmas Cheer was able to donate toys to 943 children this holiday season.

A special thanks to Mary Luckel and the Tahoe Toy Run for your generous donation. More thanks to Joanne, Wilma and Shabon at Christmas Cheer for their for the never ending commitment. Kudos to Adam Jensen for the great article that helped fill my barrels. Thanks go to Ben and Katie Fagan and Debbie Humphrey for helping shop and fill 16 baskets at Walmart. Much appreciation to all the fire stations for helping load and unload the toys. Thank you to Donna Baxter for being in charge of barrel pick ups. More thanks to Caps for Kids for providing a warm cap for each child. Thank you to the Optimist Club, the Rotary Club volunteers, Coldwell Banker, Chase International and all for the generous donation of toys and money that came from our community.

There are too many of you to mention, may God bless you all.

A final thank you too all my assistant “elves’ who helped each parent choose the best toys possible for their kids. I couldn’t have done it with out you.
