Kudos & Kindness: Grateful for helping hands, good care after accident

I was in South Lake Tahoe earlier this week on a family vacation. We had a wonderful time but, when we went on a bike ride, I encountered a slight mishap and fell into a bush and ended up having to go to immediate care to have my knee stitched, etc. While I was waiting for my husband to come get me in the car, two wonderful men who work for the U.S. Forest Service stopped and assisted me until my husband returned with the car. They were so caring and kind that I just want to thank them publicly. I just know their first names to be Brent and Steve. They gave my husband directions to the Tahoe Urgent Care facility on South Lake Tahoe Boulevard, where I encountered Dr. Henning Mehrens and his staff. It was a great short family vacation that ended up in my unfortunate bicycle accident, after which I was offered help from so many caring people riding past me. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Brent and Steve and Dr. Mehrens and his staff. I would recommend Tahoe Urgent Care to anyone, knowing that they will receive the same caring, kindness and professionalism that I received. Our family plans to return in August, but I do hope that none of my family members will require the medical attention that I received a few days ago.
