KUDOS & KINDNESS: Help with Bijou park appreciated

Bijou Community School has a beautiful new park thanks to the help of more than 130 volunteers. Thank you all who came out in the rain and helped plant 22 trees, assemble 12 concrete picnic tables, build a stepping stone playground border, and clean up the school. It was an amazing sight to see so many community members out on a rainy day hard at work. Special thanks to Ed Cook Tree Service, Andy Adams Concrete Designs, the Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe (and the Rotoracts), the Tahoe Derby Dames, and the countless Bijou staff and families that helped out. We could not have done this day without all of the wonderful volunteers! Bijou Community School has truly been transformed! Thank you all!
