KUDOS & KINDNESS: Little League receives new defibrillator

The South Tahoe National Little League would like to offer our sincere thanks to Chuck Leonard of the Community Athletic Coordinating Counsel, Chris Proctor of the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, Dr. Clint Purvance, Chief Medical Officer of Barton Hospital and Jeff Long, Clinical Engineering of Barton Hospital for their efforts, support and generous donation of a new AED (automated external defibrillator) to our baseball league.

This new device might possibly save the life of one of our local youths, parents, coaches or community members for many years to come. It is the dedication of people and organizations like these that make South Lake Tahoe a wonderful place to live and raise our children. Thank you all very much for your efforts in providing us with this new medical device.
