Kudos & Kindness: Mount Tallac High School students given opportunity to hit the slopes

Provided to the TribuneMount Tallac High School students are show during their time at Heavenly.

The future is brighter when opportunities are gifted. In the case of Mount Tallac High School students, the future will require sunglasses after the generous gift of skiing and snowboarding made by Heavenly Mountain Resort this year. For not one, but two incredible days of riding, lessons, rentals and lift tickets, the staff at Heavenly gave a priceless experience to Tallac students. With many of those students growing up in Tahoe, but never having the opportunity to enjoy what so many venture here for, the thrill of blazing down some of the most incredible runs in the world was nothing short of a life-changing experience. On behalf of all the students at Mt. Tallac, we thank those who made two of the raddest days of “school” happen!
