KUDOS & KINDNESS: South Tahoe Refuse was a huge help

Being a non-profit organization, the Heavenly Ski & Snowboard Foundation often receives help from people and businesses within the community.

We would like to take an opportunity to recognize someone who went above and beyond to help our Foundation. Ron Thurman and his crew at the South Tahoe Refuse Co. came to our aid on Monday. We realized that the bibs from the Kinder Kup race on Sunday had accidentally been thrown away with the garbage. In a haste we contacted Mr. Thurman and he and his crew found our bibs and returned them to us. We are very appreciative of their willingness to help us out and how friendly and helpful the entire crew was.
