KUDOS & KINDNESS: Thanks to our friends at Divided Sky

Our family would like to thank our friends at Divided Sky for saving the family pet. Our Canadian Field Lab rescue dog was kidnapped within calling distance from our home on April 14, 2011.

El Dorado county animal services informed us that in lieu of over four hundred dollars in fees, he would be put up for adoption on April 27, 2011.

As teachers, like most county employees, we are paid just once a month, yet despite this fact El Dorado county animal services refused to keep our pal for just three days more at $27 per day.

Our friends at Divided Sky stepped forward to rescue our pet and return him to our home before he was put up for adoption. This is what community is all about. Thanks again.
