Kudos & Kindness: Trail ready to go thanks to volunteer efforts

Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association would like to thank the more than 30 volunteers who showed up on May 6 for the first Trail Work Day of the season. Working with the U.S. Forest Service, we were able to rebuild many of the berms on the multi-use trail off Fountain Place and perform some much-needed general maintenance.

Thanks to all the community mountain bike riders and the couple employees from Sports LTD who donated their time to help out. Cheers were due to Mott Canyon at the end of the day with donated cold beers! The trail is prime shape now. Our next volunteer day is tentatively set for June 9 on Mr. Toads.
