Kudos- Recovery Center appreciates help

To the editor:

Sierra Recovery Center is a private nonprofit organization in South Lake Tahoe. We are an Outpatient and Residential Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Facility. As a private nonprofit agency we are always grateful for any donations we get.

Our clients, both at residential and walk-in outpatient clinics, look forward each week to our donations of bread, baked goods and produce from area supermarkets. Along with other donations, Rude Brothers Bagel and Coffee Haus has been donating day-old bagels on nearly a daily basis. What a treat! Persons who are in need are able to to come to Sierra Recovery Center and take whatever they can use. Sometimes we have line out the door. It makes our job just a little brighter when we can put food on a person’s table, who may not be fortunate enough to go out and purchase goodies for their families.

A most heartfelt thank you to Jim and Lisa Gosh and their great staff at Rude Brothers for caring enough to help.

If anyone out there would like to make a donation to Sierra Recovery Center, please come by our outpatient office at 972-B Tallac Ave., or call (530) 541-5190 for more information.
