Kudos: Troop 468 thanks TD Rotary

To the editor:

Boy Scout Troop 468 of Zephyr Cove would like to thank the Tahoe-Douglas Rotary Club for its continued support of troop activities. With their help the scouts were able to participate in the Alcatraz Overnight Program put on by the National Park Service.

This program allowed the boys complete access to Alcatraz Prison as well as well areas of the island. Spending the night in the “D” Block prison cells was a once in a lifetime experience.

Thanks again to the Rotary for their support.
