With Labor Day comes the annual Heavenly Blizzard Ski and Snowboard Tent Sale — the time of year marked by family deals on top outdoors brands such as Salomon, Atomic, Burton, Armada, The North Face, Patagonia and many more.
“Upstairs, inside and outside is the largest selection of ski and board apparel, sorted and sized ready to be cleared out at the lowest prices of the year. Heavy discounts on previous-year models and preview discounts on new season apparel,” according to Heavenly Mountain Resort’s website.
Talk with factory representatives and Heavenly Sports experts about 2017 products, and find the largest ski boot fitting area inside. Everything is marked down up to 70 percent off.
“The best selection at the best prices with the largest amount of boot fitters to assist you and the family,” states the website.
If you buy or renew a Heavenly Season Pass, you’ll receive a $25 discount on purchases of at least $250.
“If you’re going to buy [a season pass] anyways, might as well save a little extra,” according to the website.
The four-day sale takes place throughout the weekend, beginning Friday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. and concluding Monday at 2 p.m. Hours are as follows: Friday, Sept. 2, 2-6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3-4, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 5, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is held at Heavenly’s California Main Lodge at the top of Ski Run Boulevard.
