Lake Tahoe Unified School District cancels tonight’s meeting
The Lake Tahoe Unified School District Board meeting is canceled tonight because of the winter storm in effect for the South Shore area until 10 p.m.
The board was going to decide whether to keep the 4-by-4 schedule for next year. The high school schedule consists of eight classes a year, with four blocks a semester.
The meeting will be rescheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 15 at districts board room, located at 1021 Al Tahoe Blvd.
“We want to be sure people have the chance to comment on that,” said Angie Keil, assistant to the superintendent for LTUSD.
