South Shore’s own Drought Relief will perform in the inn and casino’s downstairs Tavern starting at 9:15 p.m. The band plays a wide selection of rock ’n’ roll songs.

“Drought Relief is a classic rock cover band formed in 2011 in South Lake Tahoe, California. With over 100 years of combined musical expertise, these guys aim to make you look at some of the best classic rock in a new light,” according to Drought Relief’s online biography. “With dancy jams like ‘Miss You’ by the Rolling Stones and their version of ‘Come Together’ by the Beatles to heavy hitters like Led Zeppelin, Billy Idol, Weezer, The Who, Bill Withers, Green Day and many, many, many more!”

The band also counts the Who, Queens of the Stone Age, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Foo Fighters among its influences.

Drought Relief is Ron Blum (vocals, guitar), Torg Hallin (lead guitar), James Taylor (rhythm guitar), Todd Christensen (bass) and AJ Steed (drums).

“Drought Relief with Ron Blum and Torg Hallin is a band [that] really know how to jam,” according to a description of the show from Lakeside Inn and Casino. “Join us to hear them put their stamp on great classic rock tunes.”

Lakeside Inn and Casino is located at 168 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.
