Lavish Green plays charity concert

South Lake Tahoe’s own Lavish Green has been consistently circulating its live show for five years. The band has left its high energy impression up and down the west coast from Seattle to Los Angeles.

For the past few years they have enjoyed performing on some of the most elaborate stages as well as at total dives. The experiences have seasoned the band to be a modern day professional entity. Band members include Chris Lovering, Rob Wheeler, Joel Gruneich, Seth Hall and Chris Sanchez.

Throughout their travels the band has taken time to donate their services for many charitable events. They have played for such events as American Foundation for AIDS Research, League to Save Lake Tahoe and Boarding for Breast Cancer. Their next charity concert will benefit the The Walk for MS scheduled May 19 at Camp Richardson Resort. The event, which will raise money for multiple sclerosis patients from Reno, Carson City and South Lake Tahoe, will begin after the walk at 10:30 a.m. on the sun deck at The Beacon.
