LDS History Center has pedigree files
The South Lake Tahoe Latter-day Saints History Center has received the Pedigree Resource Files 1-20. These CDs contain lineage-linked pedigrees that have been submitted to the Family History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. These pedigrees contain unedited notes and sources, with a total of more than one million individuals on each CD.
Volunteers at the center will assist people in placing microfilm and microfiche orders and in doing their own research.
The Family History Center is located at the corner of Spruce and Herbert streets in the church building. The center is open to the public and the hours are from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. For more information call (530) 544-1214.s
