Learn about emergency preparedness tonight

Provided to the Tribune

The Friends of the Library are hosting an evening for Tahoe locals to “Meet your South Lake Tahoe Red Cross Disaster Response Team” tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This will be an opportunity to learn more about emergency preparedness and how local members are working for you in the community.

Please plan to attend and get more information on how you can be better prepared for emergencies in your home and in the community as a whole. There will be a Red Cross First Aid kit given away at the end of the evening. Refreshments will be provided by Friends of the Library. For more information, call Jaymee Willison (530) 544-2657.
