Learn to carry a concealed gun

The Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department will conduct a Concealed Weapons Certification course Dec. 18 and 19 with a live fire exercise on Dec. 21. The course is approved for Concealed Weapon Carry Permit applicants. The individual who attends, whether beginner or advanced, will be encouraged in the safe use of firearms as well as learning the parts and operation of both semi-auto and revolver.

The course will conclude with live fire exercises on the range along with a state mandated qualification shoot and a written test. Class handouts and textbooks are included in the price of the course. The class fee is $90 plus a $10 insurance fee payable to the instructor.
