Legal assistance now available to the elderly

El Dorado County Legal Assistance for the Elderly will be available in South Lake Tahoe the second Thursday of each month beginning Sept. 13.

Attorney Gerald Kallan will be available to meet with seniors by appointment between the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the El Dorado Center, 3368 Lake Tahoe Blvd., No. 306. His services are free to senior residents of El Dorado County age 60 and older regardless of income.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California lifted regional stay-at-home orders across the state Monday in response to improving coronavirus conditions, returning the state to a system of county-by-county restrictions, state health officials announced.
