Tribune

Attorney James R. Hales will be guest speaker at the Northern Nevada chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association support group meeting. The event will take place at 7 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Learning Center adjacent to Tahoe Carson Hospital in Carson City, Nev. The community is welcome to attend.

Hales obtained his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 1983 and graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University Law School in 1986. He was admitted to the bar in 1986. He is actively involved in various community organizations. He is a member of the board of directors for the Voluntary Attorneys for Rural Nevada, an organization dedicated to providing assistance to people who could not otherwise afford legal representation.

Seniors and family caregivers should take advantage of this valuable opportunity to learn more about obtaining legal authority to make decision for a loved one, planning for long-term care, public benefits eligibility and advanced directives.
