Leo John Bisordi

Leo John Bisordi died Sept. 1, 2005, at Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe. He was 85.

Mr. Bisordi was born June 11, 1920, in San Francisco. He owned and operated Leo’s Deli in San Jose for more than 25 years. He worked in a shipyard and as a fireman. He also had a fish and poultry store In Oakland. He lived in South Lake Tahoe for 15 years.

Graveside services will be at Happy Homestead Cemetery on Saturday at noon. The cemetery is at 1261 Johnson Blvd. in South Lake Tahoe. Following the services there will be a celebration of life at Mr. Bisordi’s family home at 820 Julie Lane in South Lake Tahoe.

Mr. Bisordi was a loving husband and father and great plumber. He enjoyed playing Keno and cooking, and he loved to sing Italian songs.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rose Bisordi of South Lake Tahoe; sons Steve of San Martin, Leo of Georgetown, and Ken of San Jose; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
