Letter: Can burned logs be sold?
From my recliner I watched a timber truck roll by with the Gardner Mountain burn logs and wondered if my grandfather’s story was happening again. He purchased burned timber, sold it as a wholesaler, then was sued for burned, beetle-infested wood and lost his case.
I wonder if the timber, once burned, can be used at all? Perhaps as firewood if kept away from the house until used?
