Letter — Man helped out of a snow bank

My faith in humanity has been refreshed! I want to thank all those individuals who helped me get out of the snow bank on December 19 on Lake Tahoe Blvd. West, near Sawmill Road. Thank you to those who called the different agencies once they reached town or home, those who tried to pull my rental truck out, and also the California Highway Patrolman who stayed with my vehicle until the towing company came. It was frustrating when no one’s cell phone worked in that location. Luckily the Highway Patrol has its own dispatch system.

Thanks to the Lake Tahoe Towing Co. who came to my rescue that snowy night, when the other company wouldn’t. I know it was a very busy night for a lot of people.

I’m glad to know we have so many decent people here at Lake Tahoe who will help each other out when the need is there!
