Letter — Pop Warner thanks sponsors
March 24, 2003
South Tahoe Pop Warner Football, a nonprofit organization, would like to thank the businesses and individuals who contributed to our organization. We are a youth football organization of boys and girls ages 7 to 15 that seeks to implant in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, commitment, scholarship and reverence, so that the youth of our organization may be fine, stronger and happier youth who will grow to be good, healthy adults.
This year we were able to field four teams. Two teams went on to the Regional Championships Nov. 23 in the Bay Area and won both games. Again, we could not have succeeded without the support of the community and especially the following businesses and individuals.

Patrick Martin, M.D., Steamers Bar & Grill, Rotary, Holiday Lodge, Harrah’s, Phil Gielow, Mr. and Mrs. John Foy, CHP Squad Club No. 246, Embassy Vacation Resorts, Safeway, McDonald’s, Sessions, Whitcomb Chiropractic, Bodysculpting, Active Wear, Award of Tahoe, Laine Photolab, South Tahoe High School, South Tahoe Middle School, city of South Lake Tahoe, Community Athletic Coordinating Council, Office Depot, Tahoe Daily Tribune, The Local Sports Program and Lake Tahoe Fire Department.
