Letter — Snow shovelers save the day

On behalf of the shelter animals, thank you to the local media who put the word out about the need for snow removal and to the several people who responded with shovels in hand.

They dug out the transport vehicle, the exercise yard, the dumpster and the parking area to make sure staff and potential adopters could get to the cats and dogs waiting for food and care inside the shelter. Daryle and Betty Elizalde were the first responders, along with the entire Hudson family and Britney Collins. Thanks you also to Anna Luck and Lucas Fitzgerald.

This was another way that our Tahoe community came together to “Keep Tahoe Kind” for both people and animals.
