Letter — TAP concert had many participants

Tribune

On behalf of the board of directors of the Tahoe Arts Project, I would like to thank Harrah’s Lake Tahoe for providing the South Shore Room for our benefit concert with The Standards. Thank you Gary Zaskoda, Brian Chandler and the entire stage crew for creating a wonderful setting for the performance. You all worked very hard to make this event a success. Harrah’s also provided lodging for The Standards during their stay in Tahoe.

Thank you to the South Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Douglas chambers of commerce, The Party House, Sierra Bookshop, Meyers School and South Tahoe High School for selling tickets. We appreciate the Tahoe Daily Tribune and KRLT/KOWL for helping us get the word out. Thank you very much to the Whittell High School Black and White Honor Choir for their wonderful performance that evening. Thank you to Keith Simpson for providing The Standards with discounted meals a The Rockwater. Thanks to all of you who supported Tahoe Arts Project by attending the concert. I hope we can do it again next year.

Tahoe Arts Project is a nonprofit organization that brings professional performing arts into our local schools and community. If you would like to help Tahoe Arts Project continue to bring these wonderful programs to Tahoe, please call (530) 542-3532.
