LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Dayle Schear: a great fiction
I was sitting reading the Tribune this past Friday, Feb 10. Then I had the misfortune to read Dayle Schear’s “Tahoe Today: Crossing over can bring closure, surprises.” This must be classified as great fiction.
Really, an engraving on your father’s headstone means the Giants will win the Super Bowl?
A few weeks before the Super Bowl my wife and I went to Placerville to visit a friend; as I turned on Highway 49, my wife said this is a sign that the 49ers will win.
Well, they lost before the big game. Why is your father’ s headstone a sign, and what I saw just a road sign? Anyone can make a statement after the fact and call it a sign, but where is the proof that you know anything about the future?
Sorry, but you have failed to prove anything about the future.
Why don’t you do something truly amazing and tell me something about myself that no one knows.
I would be willing to meet you anytime and you can fill me in about myself; good luck on that one because without a person who is willing to hear what they want to hear, it never works.
