LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Stories about bears killed unnecessary

Why is it that almost every time we pick up the Tribune, we have to read about another bear killing? Maybe you should just put out a flyer for that so that people that want to know can keep track? There are those who have lived side by side with them there for 53 years who do not want to hear or read about the devastation. There are those who have gotten their garbage knocked over and just pick it up again for the privilege of just being in an area where they can even see one.

We do not need to read about it or keep track, as we did not want it all to happen in the first place. Let those who want to go out and kill them go out of their way to see a record of what is happening as the rest of us do not want to know how very sad that it all is.
