Library announces storytime schedule for fall

The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. has announced its fall storytime schedule.

– Lectura en espanol, 6 p.m. cada miercoles, Septiembre 8 a Deciembre 8. Ven a divertirte con nosotros, manualidades juegos interactivos, golosinas y rifas. Gratis.

– Mother Goose on the Loose, 11 a.m. Thursdays from Sept. 9 to Dec. 9. Free. A lap sit story time children through age 2. “Mother Goose on the Loose” is an award-winning program that combines music, movement, visual literacy and language development to prepare children for reading.

– Preschool Story Time, 11 a.m., Sept. 10 to June 11. A fun-filled half hour of stories, games and crafts suitable to younger children, ages 3-5.

– Let’s Read Together Story Time, 11 a.m., third Saturday of the month, including Sept. 18, Oct. 16 and Nov. 20. For children ages 2-5 and their parent or guardian. Each family will go home with a family activity booklet, book bag and a new copy of the featured book.

The library is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 530-573-3185, or visit our http://www.eldoradolibrary.org.
